THREE men and two teenagers who went missing while on a Northern Territory hunting trip have been found safe and well.
Police launched a helicopter search for the group, who ages range between 44 and 14, after they failed to return from a hunting day-trip near Beswick, southeast of Katherine on Christmas Eve.
Police held fears for their safety as two of the men suffered from a medical condition.
But a helicopter search located three males at around 2pm (local time) yesterday about 6km from Beswick and the other two half an hour later another 4km away.
Police said the males tried walking back to Beswick after the two vehicles they were travelling in became bogged in mud on a dirt track 40km away from the town.
All five were in good health but were taken to Beswick Clinic as a precaution.
