A hunting trip has turned tragic for two Middle Tennessee brothers.
Two brothers were hunting early Wednesday morning along the Robertson County line when, according to officials, one accidentally shot the other.
The brother of Theron Langford, 59, was aiming at a deer about 30 feet away when he accidentally shot and killed his brother, who was sitting in the area.
Langford's brother suffered an emotional breakdown and was hospitalized.
Hunting season ends on January 7 and authorities urge those taking advantage of this and future hunts to wear bright orange vests and review hunting safety rules before hunting with others.
