Hunting Northern British Columbia and the Alaska Highway

If you've ever had the opportunity to go on a hunting expedition anywhere in northern Canada or Alaska, then you know how gorgeous it is there, but you probably also know that while hunting or fishing, how important it is to stay dry! Maybe you don't? After returning from a moose hunting trip I remembered the "dry factory" and how very important it is to always have lots of thick warm socks and extra dry fleece and breathable clothing.

Knowing the terrain that you are in so you can enjoy every fruit it has to offer is just as important as keeping dry and being prepared for all of these things is equally as important. I've included in this post an incredible tool that I came across called "Adventure Guide to the Alaska Highway," written by Lynn and Ed Readicker-Henderson. It's a comprehensive E-book that gives you great in-site on what to expect when traveling to and from the far north.

Enjoy!
